PLATFORM
Deployment Solution 7.6 HF5 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 VM.
ISSUE
Client agents will not start assigned tasks.
ROOT CAUSE
The CMDB was moved to a new SQL server (off box), I made the change on the notification server, and rebooted the NS. After the reboot, there were several issues:
The console isn't responding.
Atrshost will not start.
Atrshost.exe is throwing errors in the log viewer.
Task server isn't binding on listening ports (50120 - 50124).
Agents won't register with the NS.
STEPS TAKEN SO FAR
Attempted to start / restart services.
Rebooted the NS.
Reinstalled atrshost service.
Reinstalled task service (had to manually remove atrshost)
Rebooted the NS.
-- Still not binding on ports
Restored NS to 8 day old snapshot.
-- Agents now register with task server.
-- Console comes up but throws errors.
-- NS is listening on ports 50123 and 50124
-- Agents will not start assigned tasks
HF 5 was available so I installed it..
-- Now the console works and agents register with NS and task.
-- Agents still won't start assigned tasks.
-- atrshost still throws repeating errors in log viewer.
Restarted IIS.
Rebooted server.
No change.
OUTSTANDING ISSUE
Client agents will not start assigned tasks.
Atrshost throws repeating errors in log viewer (screenshot attached).
I'm out of ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated.
