We using Deployment solution 7.6 smoothly few days before. We successfully deploying image on client machine after boot to production altiris agent lost his connection with NS server and after manually update agent gets connected with NS server and takes all other post deployment task.
OR agent takes too much time to update itself and connected to NS server but till the time on NS server side under image deploy task it all showing failed but on client side it got success.
because of this we cannot confirm that whether post deployment task got succeed or not.
I hope after first boot to production of image deployment if altiris agent gets communicated in very less time as earlier it was connected then it took all the post deployment task immediately and gives success result on NS server under task.
