Altiris SQL Inside of PowerShell Script

Hello,

I have created a report in PowerShell that I use to confirm that my machines are all up-to-date. However if altiris misses the machines... so do I. This report is run on the server grabbing the results from fileshare and emailing them from an account setup on the Altiris Server. However, I would like to tell inside of this report the machines that did not report. 

Is there a way I can run a SQL Query inside of a powershell script on the altiris server? 

Or does someone have a better solution?
