I need a solution
Just curious about what others are doing with permissions on the Softlib share on the NS. We recently had an issue with packages deploying to Site servers. It would start the download, but then stop and sit at retrying download. We left them for days, weeks, and still the same. I put in a ticket with support and it was resolved by adding the Everyone group to the softlib share and giving the group full control. I was told this is best practice.
It was strange that the same package could sync to some site servers but not others. Somewhere along the line our permissions must have gotten messed up, so I'm just curious if others have everything working without giving everyone full control.
