Dear Community,
So here's my situation, I been handed down to manage Altiris Deployment Solution 6.9 within my company which involve of me capturing wim images to upload them into our altiris server. So the way I capture the images is I create a system image within the Windows 7 machine, once the system restore VHD file is created then I mount (Attach) it in Disk Management which creates another drive letter such as F: or G: then finally I capture with GimageX with the options Boot, Verify & Check. Once the .wim file is created I then upload the image within Altiris deployment server but here is when I get the problem when I reimage using the wim I created I get the following error:
Error: Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might have caused the issue
This can be fixed by doing a repair using the Windows 7 installation cd but why is this happening?
