Steps taken so far
1) Install Windows 7 using DVD on a Dell Desktop
2) Boot into audit mode, do my customizations and install apps
3) Join to domain, install ns agent, install the deployment plugin and automation folder
4) Replace the unattend.xml here NSCap\bin\Win32\X86\Deployment with my custom xml
5) Run a prepare for image capture, boot into automation and capture image
6) Deploy the image using deploy image task and supply my custom xml for Sysprep options and check DeployAnywhere
When the machine is imaged and comes back up, the machine goes into audit mode and sysprep has not run. I look into the C:\Windows\Panther directory and I see my unattend.xml there, but also see unattend_deploywhere.xml file. Is this normal behavior?
When I uncheck the DeployAnywhere, image gets deployed and sysprep runs with my custom xml and does not go into audit mode again. I called Symantec support and they had no cluse whats happening.
