Ghost Server - 8.2 on XP down

Last week as I had just finished creating an image for a Panasonic CF20 I found that I was unable to connect to the server.  This server is old.  2005 Dell GX620 running Windows XP!!!

I tried different ports, cables, disks, ran updates, reinstalled...the full bit.

I even sought help from our Network Administrator.  The machine didn't crash. All of the previous images are still there.  We believe that the intergrated NIC card is the issue.  We did try to use a USB network but no, still didn't work. It's always limited connectivity.

So my question is this will Ghost 8.2 work if we put it on another server but one with 2012?

Any ideas would be great!!
